Michael Hilgenberg pioneered the “team” concept in his market. Hilgenberg is the rainmaker for his nine-person team, which includes four buyers specialists, an office manager, a listing manager and two new construction managers. In 2004, Team Michael closed $63 million in volume or $1.5 million GCI. Hilgenberg’s son Heath also works on the team. The father/son identity has been instrumental in the team’s branding efforts.
