Keller Williams Realty’s Spring 2008 Masterminds Recap
Keller Williams Realty’s Spring 2008 Masterminds Recap
On May 2, MAPS concluded its annual Spring Masterminds event held at the Hilton Hotel in Austin. Many attendees applauded the event and proclaimed it to be the best Masterminds in Keller Williams’ history. “This event was different because we polled prospective attendees, asked them what they wanted and we gave it to them,” explained Dianna Kokoszka, vice president of MAPS. “The best way for our attendees to achieve results is to give them the information they know is valuable and relevant to their business.”
One of the highlights of the event was Gary Keller’s address to the agents and OPs at their respective general sessions. Gary emphasized the importance of education and accountability. A profound observation made by Gary pointed out that, “Isn’t it odd the first thing people will do in tough times is cut education, coaching and accountability…isn’t that interesting?”
Gary went on to ask, “You’re a parent, you have children, times are tight … are those the first things you would cut? You would sell everything you have to make sure those children have education and accountability. You don’t cut the things that matter … you cut everything else.”
During a rousing session filled with insightful panelists, great speakers and a host of contests, the MAPS Power Hour was introduced. The concept of the Power Hour is for all associates to devote one additional hour every day to lead generation calls. The Power Hour begins with a “Power Up with MAPS” video prior to an hour of intense lead generation calling.
Don’t miss the next Masterminds or Mega Camp, Aug 26-28.
